On study nooks
I've had a couple of major exams last week. And what I noticed is that I find studying more effective when I'm not at home (e.g. coffee shop, library). I also noticed that I accomplish more work not at home cos when I'm at home I tend to be easily distracted (especially by sleep). Reviewing 7 chapters on Operating Systems at Starbucks only took me 2.5 hours. I guess I found my comfortable study spot. That means I'll be maximizing my library privileges and spending more of my allowance.
-------
The looong weekend means loooooonger schoolworks. Although this could be the time for rest for most of us, we should also be productive cos I know school's demanding so much at this time cos the semester's about to end. Good luck! :)

Keeping it cool

I'm not the type of person comfortable in speaking in front of the class. There are those who seem to easily speak out what's in their mind and I envy them XD How words flow exuberantly from them. In fact, there are those who seem silent but surprisingly outspoken when they're reporting in front of the class. While I sit there, sweating myself, waiting for my turn to report and humiliate myself. To make matters worst, I think of unfortunate situations that might happen to further humiliate me like tripping while I'm on my way in front of the class, having sweaty pits, stuttering, blanking out, feeling nauseous then vomitting due to nervousness. I know, I'm being overdramatic hahaha. I know some of you feel this way too before speaking in front of a crowd, maybe even those gifted speakers. They're just so good in keeping it cool.

Quick post
Just so happy that the hell week has passed. Me and my partner spent last week making this for our project:

It's an online class record for teachers where they could create classes, view and compute their class record. Although there were flaws, which could be fixed easily, I'm happy that we finished it. This course (BS ComSci) might be hard, but it sure is rewarding once you see your effort rewarded well. :)

Linear Algebra

Linear Algebra
Yesterday we had 3hrs of this subject and it was the longest 3 hours of my life. LOL. This isn't actually my first time that I have a math subject for 3 hours straight. On my previous sems, I had Stat and Calculus with the same hours. But this one is tough because I can't just copy what the prof is writing and if I don't get it, I could study it at home. The prof asks random students to answer his questions so you have to keep up with what he's discussing. Pressure. Plus we're only 13 students in that class so the chances of you being called is bigger. Major pressure. This pushes me to study harder, especially now that I'm in my third year.

Ranting in a list
Updating my blog on a Monday cause I don't have classes.
- I submitted a skin in Blogskins last Friday and I got to admit, I wouldn't want to put that much effort in creating a layout only to have to find out that someone's ripping it. I've been using Blogskins ever since and I know how skins get abused cos of those who rip codes and don't give much credit in return. I know cos I'm one of them haha. So this skin might be my first and last submission.
- I'm currently reading Catching Fire and as much as I want to read it to the very last page, I can't right now. Homeworks and stuff..
- I officially hate Fridays and Saturdays. I have classes the whole day on Fridays (7am-5pm) and Saturday classes are headaches. You know the feeling how you struggle getting through the day with information overload and the traffic that accompanies you home. Gaah, it's so draining.
- I've noticed lately that no one's updating their blogs which is so sad. :( Though I understand everyone's been very busy.
I hate how this post is full of bad vibes. Hello, new week. Please be good to me :)

Summer class sucks
- Wake up @ 5am, reset the alarm to 5:30
- Physics @ 7am to 9:40
- Humanities @ 9:45am to 11:45
- Home @ about 1pm
- Sleep until 5pm
- Do everything else I need to accomplish
- Hit the sack @ 10.30pm
Can I have a normal summer to relax after one school year?
